We stayed in Polly lodge for 5 days. Simon and Pollo are very nice hosts. The lodge is very quiet and convenient to access the beach. Simon’s cooking is the best in the island. He makes sure all the food materials are fresh. We really enjoyed the paradise-like environment. The rooms are very clean with air conditioning. I would definitely recommend to all my friends without hesitation.

The manager is an absolute legend, he is so helpful! really, he takes care of you as if you were his closest friend. Of course, this is a place where you stay when on budget, but for the price it has everything you need! a comfortable bed, good breakfast, hot shower. Only thing - the wifi does not reach to all the rooms - that could be an issue if you don't have a local sim. Upstairs is an amazing place to chill or to get some work done. The beach is literally 10m away from the property. I was here off season so the place was quiet, but during the high season you will have an amazing time for sure. If you want to get a local experience, make sure you reach out to the manager as he is really one of the greatest guys I've met on this amazing island.

The staff at Cast Away are exceedingly helpful, friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and even spoiled. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with a beach bar serving drinks. The facilities were beautiful and comfortable. I would gladly return to this hotel!

The beach has a lovely view of sunrise, the house is amazing, Friendly staff and understanding, The wifi is superb, it's strong enough even around the pool area which is also beautiful especially at night. The silence and peacefulness of that place just disconnects you from rest of the world.

Couldnt be better. In front of the sea, free sun beds and towel, breakfast with big buffet, good price and quality dinner/lunch at restaurant, alcohol abailable, beach activities around, very friendly and helpful staff And compared to other locations nearby, here we found: AC, hot water, water with good pressure, continuous electricity, functional mosquito nets :D This is really a perfect place to stay, we booked one more night :)

I felt like I was at home. Welcome from the owners is brilliant. They are always available and amazing. One evening they organized dinner for us guests (Ahmed the owner is also an extraordinary chef) and then they invited all of us to a local to dance. The rooms are standard with everything you need and there is one thing to say; hot water with incredible pressure, which is usually not easy to find in other accommodations. Saying goodbye has never been so difficult as it was with the Lazy Beach House team. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. We enjoyed our stay so much. After a safari in Tanzania, this was the perfect conclusion to a wonderful trip. The guys are absolute gems, super sweet, open, and funny. We all grew very fond of them and didn't want to leave. The little cat Ginger stole my heart! 😻 Everyone is helpful with any questions, the food was delicious, offering only local dishes and fresh fish every day. The rooms are authentic and provide plenty of space, as well as great outdoor seating options. We will definitely return one day, also to visit our new friends. We're taking the Pole Pole lifestyle home with us, thank you. ❤️
